Gout is an episodic, severely painful form of inflammatory arthritis caused by increased uric acid. It afflicts 1.6% of Filipinos and has increased in prevalence over the last decade. Active and Latent TB in Persons with Rheumatic Diseases (SIG 2014)

Dr. Julie Li-Yu presented updated recommendations on how to screen and treat tuberculosis in patients with rheumatic diseases.
